Reagrding the RF Out socket on a Sky set-top box… Can I run a second, slave TV via the RF Out socket?

Yes. If you connect a TV aerial lead from one of the two RF output sockets on the back of a Sky box, you can connect the other end of the aerial lead to a second TV set and watch the output of your Sky box
RF Channel
The Sky box sends its picture on a specific RF channel, and you will need to tune your TV set into that channel.
The default RF channel number for a Sky box is UHF channel 68. It should be a case of tuning your TV into channel 68, and you’ll be able to watch whatever TV channel your Sky box is tuned into.
NOTE: The RF feed from a Sky box is analogue – If you have a TV that has Freeview built-in, make sure that you tune Sky in on the Analogue tuner, not the Digital (Freeview) tuner). See your TV’s manual if you’re not sure how to tune in an analogue TV channel)
If you need to change the RF channel number for any reason, this is fairly easy to do. The method depends on whether you have a Sky+ HD box, or an older Sky box
Changing the RF channel on a Sky+ HD box:
- From the Sky remote, press the Services button
- Type 0 0 1 on the keypad and press the “Select” button
- You now find yourself at the Installers menu – scroll right to “RF Outlet”, and there you can change the RF number and turn on the power (the power is needed if you’re using a Sky TV Link – a little adapter that lets you change channels from another room)
- Save your settings, and leave the menu
Changing the RF channel number on an older Sky box:
- From the Sky remote, press the Services button
- Type 4 0 1 on the keypad and press the “Select” button
- You now find yourself at the Installers menu – Scroll to “RF Outlet”, and there you can change the RF number and turn on the power
- Save your settings, and leave the menu
RF Outlet Power Supply
In case you’re wondering, this option allows to you to turn on the power to the RF2 Output socket. You’ll need to do this if you want to make use of the Sky TV Link, which is a little adapter that lets you change channels from another room.
I have a Sky Digibox in which I purchase a LG Blue Ray Player / Recorder with a satellite in and output connector. My RF out 1 and 2 are analogue but the signal going into the Blue Ray have to be digital. Is there anyway I can convert the analogue signal to digital signal so that I can tune in those signal? In the Blue Ray it gives me the ability to change the frequencies for the LNB and the transponder.

How do i get subtitles on tv when signal is fed from r/2 on old sky box
I have connected my new replacement secondary TV to RF2 exactly as my old TV was.
But my new TV is not recognising the signal.
Is this because maybe the new TV is only digital and does not recognise analogue¿
