Does Freeview HD need a satellite dish?

Posted on 13 May 2011 By TV and Tech No Comments on Does Freeview HD need a satellite dish?

Question

Does a Freeview HD box need a dish?

(Submitted online)

Our Answer

Nope. A Freeview HD box gets its signal using a TV aerial, and not a satellite dish.

You must be in a Freeview HD coverage area to get Freeview HD

There’s a more detailed explanation here: Can I use a Freeview box with a Sky Dish?
