What is a SCART socket?
A SCART socket will typically be found on the back of a TV set, DVD recorder, digital TV set-top box or video recorder.
A SCART socket looks like a rectangular socket with 21 holes.
With a SCART lead, you can connect a piece of equipment (such as a Freeview box) to a TV set.
